Kirchheim, Raphael

Kirchheim, Raphael
(1804-89)
   German scholar. He was born in Frankfurt am Main and became a partner in a banking house. Initially he was an opponent of Reform Judaism, but under the influence of Abraham Geiger he became a supporter. His publications include editions of various medieval Hebrew works.
